I thought Harry should have sacrificed himself in defense of Hogworts, Muggles and the entire wizarding world thereby bestowing upon everyone the same protection his mother gave him when she died. Making Voldemort no more than a powerless squib for the rest of his life. Then maybe giving Harry and his parents portraits of honor all over the school so they could visit and give advice to students in future side novels.
